Sunday Service 6 September 2020
Sunday Service 6 September 2020Unfortunately, because of technical issues beyond our control – the recording cannot be used. This means that we will not be able to give you a link to today’s service. We apologise for that and assure you that we will have ironed out all the issues by next Sunday. We will still be uploading a weekly reflection on Wednesday.I also want to make us of this opportunity to appeal to anyone who might know of someone, or themselves be willing, to take over these technical responsibilities from me. As you know we are moving away at the end of the month, and I would like to train someone (or more than one person) who can take over the recording of the services. We might even have more than one person who can help (and alternate with) each other. Perhaps some of our younger folk might be willing and eager? Please let me know! The Wedesday Reflection will continue as usual. We would like to remind everyone that there are also other worship resources available. The Church of Scotland has a list of congregations that livestream Church services. To access these - please follow the link below: https://churchofscotland.org.uk/worsh... Great to see PCT has a revitalised website. We look forward to being able to share together again in worship and social events as lockdown eases. As Always – feel free to email me at EEnslin@churchofscotland.org.uk if you want to talk. Feel free to look us up on Facebook or visit our website at: https://www.pollokshieldschurch.org.uk/ Our Facebook Page Previous Reflections can be found here. Coronavirus UpdateNow that Lockdown has entered phase 2 we are able to plan towards opening our church. We do not have a date for opening as yet but we are working on putting in place all the things that are needed to make it safe for folk to return to the building. The Kirk Session will make the decision about returning and the Presbytery will sign off that we have put all the proper safety requirements regarding cleaning, disinfecting, physical distancing and flow of people in place. When we do open things will be different from what they were before lockdown but it will be good to be able to worship together againRev.
