(These are the initial letters of 'Iesus Hominum Salvator' - Jesus the Saviour of men)

The gift of William Wilson of West Lodge and of his family to Pollokshields Parish Church, 1878.

William Wilson of Wilson & Matheson, Manufacturers, Merchants and General Warehousemen. He was a founder member and one of the original three trustees of the church. West Lodge was in Maxwell Drive. Mr Wilson died 1/4/1892.
