  1. Sunday 14th June – 11am Service of New Communicants and Sacrament of Holy Communion, Junior Church & Crèche.
  2. Midweek Service – Our midweek service takes place on Wednesday 10th June at 9.45 am.
  3. Coffee Break – This follows our Midweek Service from 10:00am to 11:30am. On duty this week are Alison Blake, Angus Turner, George Thomson and Marjory Swan.
  4. Kirk Session – The Kirk Group meets on Tuesday 9th June at 7.30pm and on Sunday 14th June at 10.30am.
  5. Next Week's Service – Next Sunday morning's Service of Holy Communion will also include the admission of new Communicant Members of the Church.
  6. Coffee Morning – A summer coffee morning is being held at St Ninian's Church next Saturday, 13th June, from 10.00am to 12 Noon. Entry is £1.50, with stalls and home baking.
  7. Inventory Day – Please note that the work party inventory day is on Saturday 13th June. Thanks.
  8. Pastoral Care – Rev. David Black is usually at the Church on Wednesday morning for the Midweek Service.  Otherwise please contact him on 0141 423 4000 for all pastoral matters. Thank you.

  • Bible Study – The next Bible Study this Tuesday, 9th June at 7.30 pm and is the second half of 'Praying our Sin" based on Psalm 51. Everyone will be made very welcome, Contact Murray Henderson on (0141) 423 8421 for details. Thanks.
  • Bookworms – The book for June is based around the theme of Refugee Week from 15th to Tuesday 21st June and is This Is Where I Am by Karen Campbell, a former police officer who lives in Glasgow. It tells the story of an unlikely friendship between a Glasgow widow and a Somali asylum seeker and be discussed at our next meeting on Thursday 25th June at 2.00pm. Feel free to come along and join in. Tea, coffee and biscuits served.
  • Holiday Club  – This year's Pollokshields Churches Together Holiday Club will run from 3rd to 8th August here in our halls from 10.00 am to Noon for all aged 5-12. More details as programme released.
  • Scotland's Churches Trust – The Scotland's Churches Trust Annual Organ Recital being held this year in the west, at Paisley Abbey on Wednesday 10th June at 7.30. It will be given by George McPhee, after which people can have a drink and find out more about the grants available to preserve the architectural and ecclesiastical heritage of Scotland.
