1. Sunday 10th June 2012 – 11:00am Sacrament of Holy Communion

2. Today’s Service – Our service thismorning includes Junior church promotions, Baptism and Admission to Church Membership. The service will be followed by a church lunch celebrating the Diamond jubilee weekend. Please make your way throught to the hall after worship and join us for lunch. It’s free and all donations will go to Christian Aid.

3. Church Music – Organist Liam Devlin will play Dem Fernen- Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha at the offering today and the Voluntary is Handel’s La Rejouissance (from Music for the Royal Fireworks). The Choir’s Anthem is The King Shall Rejoice by Handel.

4. Scottish Asian Christian Fellowship – As it is the first Sunday of the month, the Scottish Asian Christian Fellowship meets today at 3:30pm.

5. Midweek Service – Our midweek service takes place on Wednesday 6th June and begins at 9:45am

6. Coffee Break – This takes place after the midweek service from 10:00am–11:30am.

On duty this week are Alison Blake, Angus Turner, George Thomson, Marjory Swan and Betty Miller.

Other Notices

1. Christian Aid – Many thanks to all who returned the boxes. Donations from today’s lunch will be added to the total.

2. Kirk Session – The Kirk Session meets next Sunday morning, 10th June at 10:30am.

3. Spring Concert for Lugoj – Matthew Todd would like to thank everyone who supported his recent concert at the church, especially those who supplied the tea and home baking! Almost £600 was raised on what was a highly successful evening, which will go to help Romanian orphans.

4. Holiday Club  – Pollokshields Church Together’s Holiday Club for children P1 to S1 takes place in Sherbrooke St Gilbert’s Church from 6th to 8th August from 10:00am to 12Noon. Lunch is available 12-1pm for just £1.

5. Prayer Support Network – Prayer requests can be put in the box by the front door or via the website:www.pollokshieldschurch.org.uk
