  1. Today's Service - 3rd December 2017 11am Morning Worship, Holy Communion & Junior Church. 
  2. Next Week's Service - Sunday 10th December 11.00 am Morning Worship, Gift Service

  3. Midweek Service - This takes place on Wednesday 6th December from 9.45am to 10.00am. 
  4. Coffee Break - Coffee Break is 10.00am to 11.30am. On duty this week are Janette Sneddon, David Hart, Eelyn McFarlane and Helen Templeton.
  5. Bible Study - Currently, the Bible Study and Prayer Group is drawing upon New Testament characters for this particular series of studies. Our next individual is 'Thomas -Disciple of Doubt' (based on John 14: 1-7 & John 20: 19-31). We meet on Tuesday 12th December at 7.30pm and everyone is VERY welcome.   6. The Guild - The Guild meets tomorrow, Monday 4th December, at 2.30pm with a isit from Janette Henderson.  New members will be most welcome. 
  7. Attention BookwormsOur book for discussion is Crooked Heart by Lissa Evans, a recent Woman and Home Book Club pick. It will be discussed at our next meeting on Thursday 25th January at 2.00pm. Feel free to come along even if you haven't read it! Tea and coffee served.. 
  8. Gift Service - Please note our Gift Service on Sunday 10th December for which unwrapped toys and presents for all ages will be donated to the Starter Pack charity. Thank you.
  9. Induction Service - Just a reminder that the Service of Ordination and Induction for Stuart Crawford at Newton Mearns Parish Church takes place on Thursday 7th December at 7 .00pm. A bus will be leaving from our church at 6.00pm for those who would like to attend and require transport. A donation of £5 towards the cost of the bus is suggested.
  10. Kirk Session - The Kirk Session meets on Tuesday 5th December at 7.30pm following this morning's meeting.
  11. Art Installation - From tomorrow, visual artists Gardner & Gardner's temporary art installation will be in the gallery stairwell of the Church.  The piece is entitled 'Vesibule' and explores Advent narratives of annunciation and incarnation.  There will be an opening event on Sunday 17th December to which you are invited for mulled refreshments and festive treats.  The exhibition will continue from 18th to 20th December from 11.00am to 4.00 pm.  Everyone most welcome.
  12. Lodging House Mission - If anyone would like to donate men's toiletries, socks, etc as a Christmas present for a homeless man, these would be most greatfully received.  Please contact Elva Carlisle.
