  1. Today's Service – Morning Worship, Junior Church
  2. Next Week's Service – Sunday 6th November, 11 am. Morning Worship followed by Holy Communion & Junior Church. 
  3. Midweek Service – Our midweek service takes place on Wednesday 2nd November, between 9.45am and 10.00 am.
  4. Coffee Break – This follows our midweek service between 10.00am and 11.30am. On duty this Wednesday are Elva Carlisle, Irene Macleod, Maeve Kinloch and Jean McKenzie.
  5. Pastoral Care – Rev. David Black is usually at the Church on Wednesday morning for the Midweek Service. Otherwise, please contact him on 0141 423 4000 for all pastoral matters. Thanks.
  6. The Guild - The Guild meets tomorrow, Monday October 31st, at 2.30pm with a talk on Eclipse Holidays. All welcome.
  7. Finance Group - the meeting on Wednesday  26th October has been postponed.
  8. Kirk Session - The Kirk Session meets on Tuesday 1st November at 7.30pm. 
  9. Attention Bookworms – For the November meeting there are two books available: No Way But Gentleness by Richard Hines, a memoir (now a film) of how Kes, his kestrel, changed his life, and The Night Book by Richard Madeley, described as 'an authentic thriller set in the Lake District'. 
    These will be discussed at our next meeting on Thursday 24thNovember at 2.00pm. 
    This is an open meeting and everyone interested will be made most welcome. Tea and coffee will be served. 
  10. Going Deeper - We have two Wednesdays to reflect on why we sing the hymns we do. Starting on 2nd November at 7.45pm - 'Words that puzzle, challenge and inspire' and on 9th November 'Sing a new song'. All welcome. 
  11. Bible Study – The Bible Study & Prayer Group's next topic for discussion is 'The Wrath of God' (based on Romans 1: 18-32). It is on Tuesday 8th November at 7.30pm and everyone is VERY welcome. Contact Murray Henderson on (0141) 423 8421 for further details.
  12. Life & Work – The November issue is available for uplift this morning. The order form for 2017 is enclosed. Life & Work is the Church of Scotland's own journal, published monthly and featuring all the issues and news of the day.
