  1. Today's Service - We warmly welcome this morning's guest preacher, Rev. Marion Cowie.  
  2. Next Week's Service - Sunday 5th November 11.00am Morning Worship and Junior Church followed by an informal Communion.
  3. Midweek Service - Our Midweek Service takes place on Wednesday 1st November from 9.45am to 10.00am.
  4. Coffee Break - Coffee Break is 10.00am to 11.30am. On duty this week are Elva Carlisle, Irene Macleod, Maeve Kinloch and Jean McKenzie
  5. Bible Study - The Bible Study and Prayer Group is drawing upon New Testament characters for this series of studies. The next topic is entitled 'Mary Magdalene' (based on Luke 8:1-3, Mark 15:37-47 and John 20: 1-18). We meet this Tuesday, 31st October at 7.30pm and everyone is very welcome. Contact Murray Henderson on (0141) 423 8421 for full details. 
  6. The Wayhe next meeting of the youth group takes place on Sunday 12th November in Sherbrooke St Gilbert's Church Hall from 6.00pm to 8.00pm.
  7. The Guild - The Guild meets tomorrow, Monday 30th October, at 2.30pm. The speaker will be Mrs Ann Duncan from Feed The Minds. She will give an illustrated talk on the organisation's work in combating the practices in some cultures of the mutilation and subjection of young women. It is reckoned that as many as 125 million across 29 countries have already been subjected to such abuse. All welcome to attend. 
  8. Attention BookwormsOur book for November is My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante. It will be discussed at our next meeting on Thursday 30th November at 2.00pm. Feel free to come along even if you haven't read it! Tea and coffee served.  
  9. Lodging House Mission - Please note Lodging House Christmas cards are on sale again in the Hall this morning. 
  10. Autumn Coffee Morning - This will take place in St Ninian's Church on Saturday 11th November from 10-12.
  11. Junior Church Just a reminder that Junior Church are working towards Advent and their Nativity production, which will take place on Sunday 17th December. Meanwhile, they are also continuing their charity work raising funds for Callum's Cabin. Junior Church will be holding a Craft & Baking Stall in the Hall starting on the first Sunday in Advent. Watch out for details online and on the special flyer which should be available. Thanks.
