2. Christian Aid– This year’s Christian Aid collection raised a fantastic £808.02. Thank you so much to all who brought in their boxes and encouraged others to do so, and a special thanks to all who helped out with the counting. You can still bing in your donation boxes and we’d be delighted to add it to our total.

3. Lodging House Mission– The Lodging House Mission has experienced a growth in numbers over the last few months with the result that there is now a shortage of sugar, tinned goods fruit, vegetables, rice, cold meat and corned beef. Any donations will be gratefully received and should be given to Elva Carlisle. Thanks

4.Midweek Service – Our midweek service takes place on Wednesday 1st June. . It is a short service from 9:45am – 10:00am.

5. Coffee Break– This takes place after the midweek service from 10:00am–11:30am.

On duty this week are Marjory Swan, David Hart, Angus Turner, Alison Blake and George Thomson..

6. Pastoral Care– Rev David Black is usually at the Church on Wednesday morning for the Midweek Service. Otherwise, please contact him on 423 4000 for all pastoral matters. Thanks

 Other Notices

 1. Communion Cards – Communion cards and envelopes are available for Elders to uplift. Please see Elena in the hall before or after the service.

2. Kirk Session – the Kirk Session are reminded of their conference session today from 12:30 – 2:00pm in the session room.

Kirk Session minutes are available today. Elders please uplift your copy from the Side Chapel.

3. Church Magazine – Church magazines are available today. Folder for delivery can be uplifted from the green boxes in the Hall. If you do not get New Vision delivered, please uplift your copy from the Vestibule or Hall door.

4. Shadow of the Divine- An exhibition at the New College on Edinburgh’s Mound takes place from 14th May to 11th June and features outstanding works of art on loan from the Methodist Art Collection, as well as a rare first edition from 1611 for the King James Bible. It is hoped to organise a church visit to this event on Friday 3rd June between 11:00am and 3:00pm
