1. Sunday 3rd June 2012 – 11:00am Church Family Day and Sacrament of Baptism, Admission and Junior Church promotions followed by Congregational Lunch

2. Church Music – Organist Liam Devlin will play Rondeau from Abdelazer by Purcell at the offering today and the Recessional is Walton’s March: Crown Imperial.

3. Pollokshields Churches Together – A service for Pentecost for Pollokshields Churches Together takes place in our church this evening at 5:00pm. All are welcome to attend this service of reflection for all the local churches.

4. Midweek Service – Our midweek service takes place on Wednesday 30th May and begins at 9:45am

5. Coffee Break – This takes place after the midweek service from 10:00am–11:30am.

On duty this week are Elizabeth McKissock, David Hart, Helen Templeton, Maeve Kinloch and Janette Sneddon.

6. Church Magazines – Church magazines are available today. Folders can be uplifted from the green boxes in the hall. If you do not get New Vision delivered, please uplift a copy from the vestibule or hall door.

Other Notices

1. ‘Give Peace a Chance’ – In preparation for July’s Hear: I Am, there is a meeting on Wednesday 30th May at 7:30pm in the Session Room on the theme of peace.

2. Church Family Sunday – Our Service next Sunday will include Junior Church promotions, Baptism and Admission to Church Membership. The service will be followed by a church lunch celebrating the Diamond Jubilee weekend, with donations going to Christian Aid

3. Meet a Missionary – A member of the Overseas Missionary Fellowship on home assignment from one of the ‘closed’ countries in the Far East, will be at a meeting on Friday 1st June at 12:30pm at the Millers, 7 Newark Drive. She would be glad to meet and talk about her work with anyone interested. All welcome. Free lunch!

4. Holiday Club  – Pollokshields Church Together’s Holiday Club for children P1 to S1 takes place in Sherbrooke St Gilbert’s Church from 6th to 8th August from 10:00am to 12Noon. Lunch is available 12-1pm for just £1.
