2.Annual Stated Meeting– The Annual Stated Meeting of the congregation will take place on Sunday 20th March following Morning Worship. Minutes of the 2010 Annual Stated Meeting will be available in the Vestry from next Sunday, 6th March.

3. Kirk Session– meets on Tuesday 1st March at 7:30pm

4.Midweek Service – Our midweek service takes place on Wednesday 2nd March. It is a short service from 9:45am – 10:00am.

5. Coffee Break– This takes place after the midweek service from 10:00am – 11:30am. On duty this week are Ella Cooper, Helen Templeton, Maeve Kinloch and Elizabeth McKissock.

6. Church Magazines– are available today. Folders can be uplifted from the green boxes in the Hall.

7. Christian Aid– The Annual Art Sale & Exhibition for Christian Aid takes place on Saturday 12th March from 12Noon to 4:00pm in Clarkston Hall. There will be over 400 original paintings from professional and amateur artists. Entry is £2.00 (Children 50p) and includes catalogue plus tea/coffee

8. Pastoral Care– Rev David Black is usually at the Church on Wednesday morning for the Midweek Service. Otherwise, please contact him on 423 4000 for all pastoral matters. Thanks

 Other Notices

 1. The Guild– The Guild meets tomorrow, Monday 28th February, at 2:00pm. The speaker is from the RNLI and the offering will go towards the lifeboat charity.

2. Guild Coffee Morning - is on Saturday 12th March from 10:00am to 12Noon. Donations of home baking, jam, sweets etc will be most welcome but, most importantly, everyone’s support.

3. World Day of Prayer– The local service is on Friday 4th March at 2:00pm in St Ninian.s Church.

4. Friends of Govan Old– The Annual General Meeting of the Friends of Govan Old will take place on Saturday 12th March at 1:30pm. It will be preceded by a short act of worship at 12Noon. After the AGM, Professor Jane Dawson, a lecturer on the history of music at Edinburgh University, will deliver a lecture on a Reformation theme. There will also be a chance to view the historic stones at Govan Old.
