1.Sunday 24th  April 2011 - 11:00am Easter Day Celebration, followed by Sacrament of Holy Communion.

 Junior Church and Crèche

2. Roll Away the Stone– This event takes place on Sunday 22nd May in Edinburgh as part of this year’s General Assembly. If enough members wish to travel through we will arrange a bus at the subsidised cost of £5 return. Please sign up by 24th April in order for us to book it. The bus would leave the church at 1:30pm, returning from Edinburgh at approximately 7:00pm.

3. Ten Pin Bowling– Plans are afoot for another bowling night on Thursday 12th May at 7:00pm at the Quay. It would be helpful to have numbers going about a week ahead. Please contact Liz Izzard if you want to come elizzard200@yahoo.co.uk. Tel 07850 142027.

4.Midweek Service – Our midweek service takes place on Wednesday 27th April. It is a short service from 9:45am – 10:00am.

5. Coffee Break– This takes place after the midweek service from 10:00am–11:30am.

On duty this week are Ella Cooper, Helen Templeton, Maeve Kinloch and Elizabeth McKissock.

6. New Vision– The May issue of New Vision is available today. Folders can be uplifted from the Hall. If you deliver Life and Work, please speak to Elizabeth McKissock.

7. Pastoral Care– Rev David Black is usually at the Church on Wednesday morning for the Midweek Service. Otherwise, please contact him on 423 4000 for all pastoral matters. Thanks

 Other Notices

 1. Spring Clean & Tidy Up– The Property Group is planning a Spring Clean on Saturday 14th May all day from 9:00am. A skip will be on site and lots of volunteers would be great. Come and help, but bring your own rubber gloves please!

2. Charity Run– Thank you to all who sponsored me for the Paris Marathon on Sunday 10th April. Your generosity was amazing. Despite 30 degree heat I managed to complete it in 4 hours 11 minutes. A full race report will be in the next edition of New Vision. Many thanks once again. Val Henderson
