2. Church Music – This morning’s Italian music from our organist Liam Devlin features Giuseppe Pitoni’s Cantate Domino for the choir’s anthem.

The Offertor Voluntary is Largo from Winter, one of Antonio Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.

The Recessional is Flocco’s Allegro

3. Midweek Service – Our midweek service takes place on Wednesday 25th April and begins at 9:45am

4. Coffee Break – This takes place after the midweek service from 10:00am–11:30am.

On duty this week are Elva Carlisle, Anne Clark, Irene Macleod, Irene Ross and Chris Alexander.

5. Church Magazines – Today is the copy date for May’s New Vision. If you have any articles, please leave them in the box in the hall or speak to Elizabeth McKissock.

6. Finance Group – The Finance Group meets on Tuesday 24th April at 7:30pm.

7. Publicity Group – The Publicity Group meets on Wednesday 25th April at 6:00pm in the Library.

Other Notices

1. Church Membership – A group for those thinking about formal church membership will meet on Sundays after our Morning Service from 12:15pm to 1:00pm. The group will begins today. Meet in the Coffee Lounge after the service.

2. Christian Aid Concert  – The Forthingay players present a concert for Christian Aid in the Fotheringay Centre tonight at 6:00pm. Ticket details available on 0141 956 1672.

3. Pollokshields Churches Together – A ’Meet the Candidates’ political hustings event for the local elections takes place in Sherbrooke St Gilbert’s Church on Monday 30th April at 7:30pm

4.Election Day – The church is open on Thursday 3rd May for the local elections between 6:00pm and 9:00pm. Volunteers are needed to help staff the open evening and if you can help please speak to Sheila or David Hart. Many thanks

5. The Way – The Way youth group meets next Sunday 29th April, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Fotheringay Centre for the usual mix of games, activites and Christian discussion.
