  1. Sunday 1st March – 11am Morning Worship, Junior Church & Crèche. Guest Preacher: Miss Fiona MacDonald.
  2. Today's Service - We warmly welcome Guides, Brownies and Rainbows, as well as Scott Blackwell, who is organist for this morning's Thinking Day Service.
  3. Midweek Service – Our midweek service takes place on Wednesday 25th February at 9.45 am.
  4. Coffee Break – This follows our Midweek Service from 10:00am to 11:30am. On duty this week are Sadie Swan, Sylvia Pacitti, Mhari Fisher and Nathan Todd.
  5. The Guild – Resumes tomorrow, Monday 23rd February at 2.30pm. Guest speaker is street pastor Bill Niven.
  6. Bible Study – An informal gathering takes place on the second and forth Tuesdays of each month to consider different aspects of the Bible Message. All welcome. Contact Murray Henderson on 0141 423 8421.
  7. World Day Of Prayer – A special service to commemorate World Day of Prayer takes place on Friday 6th March at St. Ninian's Church, Albert Drive. The service begins at 2.00pm and all men and women are welcome to attend, with refreshments served afterwards in the church hall.
  8. Pastoral Care – From 27th February to 9th March pastoral care will be provided by Rev. John Miller (423 0221). Please contact Mary Morrison re all Church matters. Thank you.

  • ‚ÄčLent Study Group The group continues on Thursday 26th February at 7.30 pm. We will use CTBI Lent material Journeying to Easter with Christians of the Middle East. All welcome.
  • Attention Bookworms – The book for February is The Homesman by Glendon Swarthout and will be discussed at our next meeting this Thursday 26th February at 2.00pm. All welcome. Tea and coffee served as always.

    Maggie Ritchie, one of our own church members, is a freelance journalist and launches her first novel Paris Kiss at Waterstones, Argyle Street, on Thursday 26th February. The novel is set in the Bohemian Art World of late 19th Century Paris and is based on the true story of the passionate relationship between the great sculptor Auguste Rodin and a young woman called Camille Claudel, also a gifted sculptor.  The launch begins from 7.00pm on Thursday evening.  All very welcome.
