  1. Today's Service - 11am Morning Worship and Junior Church. This morning's service will be followed by a special lunch to mark Stuart Crawford's completion of probation. 
  2. Next Week's Service - Morning Worship followed by informal Holy Communion.
  3. Midweek Service - Our midweek service takes place on Wednesday 4th October between 9.45am and 10.00 am.
  4. Coffee Break - This follows our midweek service between 10.00am and 11.30am. On duty this Wednesday are Elva Carlisle, Irene Macleod, Maeve Kinloch and Jean McKenzie. 
  5. Bible Study - The Bible Study and Prayer Group is drawing upon New Testament characters for this series of studies. The next topic is entitled 'A Throwaway Woman' (based on John 8: 1-11). We meet on Tuesday 3rd October at 7.30pm and everyone is very welcome. Contact Murray Henderson on (0141) 423 8421. Thanks. 
  6. The WayThe next meeting of the youth group takes place next Sunday, ath October, in Sherbrooke St Gilbert's Church Hall from 6.00pm to 8.00pm with the usual games, activities and discussion. 
  7. The Guild - This session's opening meeting of the Guild will take place tomorrow, Monday 2nd October, at 2.30pm. Rev. David Black will speak on this year's theme 'Go In Love'. 
    New members will be most welcome. 
  8. Attention Bookworms - Our book for October is The Essex Serpent by Sarah Perry, which has already garnered a host of awards. It is a gothic Victorian tale crammed with incidents and will be discussed at our next meeting on Thursday 261h October at 2.00pm. This is an open meeting and all are welcome. Tea and coffee will be served. 
  9. Life & Work - The October issue of Life & Work is available for uplift this morning. 
  10. Quiz Night - There will be a Quiz Night in the Church Hall on Thursday 26th October at 7.00pm. Teams of 4-6 people are welcome. Entrance is £5 per head (free for school age) and all profits go to the Kitchen Fund. Don't be afraid to come in ones and twos as we can create teams on the night!
