1.Sunday 1st May 2011 - 11:00am Morning Worship, including Sacrament of Baptism.

 Junior Church and Crèche

2.Midweek Service – Our midweek service takes place on Wednesday 4th May. It is a short service from 9:45am – 10:00am.

3. Coffee Break– This takes place after the midweek service from 10:00am–11:30am. On duty this week are Marjory Swan, David Hart, Angus Turner, Alsion Blake and George Thomson.

4. Kirk Session– The Kirk Session meets on Tuesday 3rd May at 7:30pm.

5. Roll Away the Stone– This event takes place on Sunday 22nd May in Edinburgh as part of this year’s General Assembly. If members are travelling through, a bus will be arranged at the subsidised cost of £5 return. The bus would leave the church at 1:30pm, returning from Edinburgh at approximately 7:00pm.

6. Ten Pin Bowling– Plans are afoot for another bowling night on Thursday 12th May at 7:00pm at the Quay. It would be helpful to have numbers going about a week ahead. Please contact Liz Izzard if you want to come elizzard200@yahoo.co.uk. Tel 07850 142027.

7. Pastoral Care– Rev David Black is usually at the Church on Wednesday morning for the Midweek Service. Otherwise, please contact him on 423 4000 for all pastoral matters. Thanks

 Other Notices

 1. Spring Clean & Tidy Up– The Property Group is planning a Spring Clean on Saturday 14th May all day from 9:00am. A skip will be on site and lots of volunteers would be great. Come and help, but bring your own rubber gloves please!

2. Church Magazines– Church magazines are available today. Please uplift your folders for delivery from the green boxes in the Hall. If you do not get New Vision delivered, please uplift a copy from the Vestibule or Hall door.

3.Prayer Support Group– Prayer request cards are available in the pews, or requests can be made via the church website: www.pollokshieldschurch.org.uk

4. Next Sunday – Please be aware that the 10k race takes place next Sunday and roads around the Church may be closed, so please plan your route carefully!
