  1. Today's Service – Morning Worship & Ordination of Elders.
  2. Next Week's Service – Sunday 2nd October, 11 am. Morning Worship & Junior Church. 
  3. Midweek Service – Our midweek service takes place on Wednesday 28th September, between 9.45am and 10.00 am.
  4. Coffee Break – This follows our midweek service between 10.00am and 11.30am. On duty this Wednesday are Sadie Swan, Sylvia Pacitti, and Gwen Brougham. 
  5. Concert – East Renfrewshire School Jazz Band will be playing a concert at Eastwood Parish Church Hall, Mansewood Road, next Sunday, 2nd October, at 7 .30pm. Tickets priced £6.00 (children free) include tea/coffee and home baking. For more information contact Anne Maree on (0141) 585 3911. 
  6. Harvest Thanksgiving – Thanks for all the donations to the Lodging House Mission and for the Malawi appeal last week.

  9. Going Deeper – Thursday night's series entitled 'Going Deeper' looks at prayer this month and the next meeting is this Thursday, 29th September, at 7.30pm.

  11. Attention Bookworms – September's book is Salmon Fishing on the Yemen by Paul Torbay, a 'wonderful novel' which has been read on Radio 4. It is Torbay's first novel and won the Bollinger Everyman Wodehouse Prize for comic fiction as well as being made into a film starring Ewan MacGregor. It will be discussed at our next meeting on Thursday, 29th September, at 2.00pm. Tea and coffee will be served. All welcome.
  12. Bible Study – The Bible Study & Prayer Group's next topic for discussion is 'The Spirit Transforms' (based on Galatians 5: 13-26). The group meets this Tuesday, 27th September, at 7.30pm and everyone is very welcome. Contact Murray Henderson on (0141) 423 8421 for full details.
