  1. Today's Service – Morning Worship, Harvest Thanksgiving & Junior Church.
    Harvest Thanksgiving  The monetary appeal will be for the food crisis in Malawi, via Christian Aid. Gifts of foodstuffs for Lodging House Mission will also be gratefully received.  The LHM has provided us with a list of preferred groceries and copies of the list are displayed in the hall and vestibule.
  2. Next Week's Service – Sunday 25th September, 11 am. Morning Worship & Junior Church. Ordination of Elders.
  3. Midweek Service – Our midweek service takes place on Wednesday 21st September, between 9.45am and 10.00 am.
  4. Coffee Break – This follows our midweek service between 10.00am and 11.30am. On duty this Wednesday are Alison Blake, Angus Turner, George Thomson and Marjory Swan. 
  5. Kirk Session – There will be a meeting of the Kirk Session at 10.30am on Sunday 25th September. 
  6. Fabric Group – There will be a meeting of the Fabric Group at 7.45am on Wednesday  21st September. 
  7. Pastoral Care – Rev. David Black is usually at the Church on Wednesday morning for the Midweek Service. Otherwise, please contact him on 0141 423 4000 for all pastoral matters. Thanks.
  8. Going Deeper – Thursday night's new series entitled 'Going Deeper' looks at prayer this month and the next meeting is this Thursday, 22nd September, at 7.30pm. This week we are going to be looking at different styles of prayer and how we can use them in our daily life.
  9. The Guild - The Guild meets tomorrow, Monday 19th September, at 2.30pm. The speaker is Anne Parsonage from Glasgow Humane Society. All welcome. 
  10. Attention Bookworms – September's book is Salmon Fishing on the Yemen by Paul Torbay, a 'wonderful novel' which has been read on Radio 4. It is Torbay's first novel and won the Bollinger Everyman Wodehouse Prize for comic fiction as well as being made into a film starring Ewan MacGregor. It will be discussed at our next meeting on Thursday, 29th September, at 2.00pm. Tea and coffee will be served. All welcome.
