1. Sunday 19th January – 11:00am Morning Worship, Junior Church & Crèche.

2. Gift Service – Many thanks to all who contributed to our Gift Service on Sunday 15th December. This provided Daisy Chain in Govanhill and Starter Packs with presents for youngsters, plus selection boxes for the Food Bank.

Thanks once again for your generosity.

3. Midweek Service – Our midweek service is on Wednesday 15th January at 9:45am.

4. Coffee Break – This is after the Midweek Service from 10:00am to 11:30am.

On duty this week are Elva Carlisle, Anne Clark, Irene Macleod, Evelyn McFarlane.

5. Bookworms - The next book on our list is Let the Great World Spin by Colum McCann. The date of the next Bookworms meeting in Thursday 30th January at 2:00pm. All welcome. Full details from Mrs Sylvia Pacitti.

6. Kirk Session - The Kirk Session meets on Tuesday 14th January at 7:30pm.

7. New Vision - The copy date for New Vision is next Sunday 19th January. Thanks

Other Notices

1.Pollokshelds Heritage The latest in a series of lectures will be held in the Fotheringay Centre, Fotheringay Road on Tuesday 21st January at 7:00pm for 7:30pm. Abigail Howkins will give a presentation on the Albert Drive Project a year-long collaboration of the idea of ‘neighbour’ and what it means to live alongside each other from the perspective film record of her engagement with Pollokshields and its residents.

Tickets for the lecture cost £5 and include a glass of wine.

2. The WayThe next meeting of the Way youth group is this evening, Sunday 12th January, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Sherbrooke St Gilberts Church when there will be the usual mix of games, food and discussion.

3. The GuildThe Guild next meet on Monday 24th February at 7:30pm when there will be a talk entitled ‘Finding The Right Way’. All welcome
