2. Today’s Service– This morning’s Sacrament of Holy Communion includes a tribute to our late Elder, Annette Paterson.

3. Midweek Service – Our midweek service takes place on Wednesday 14th September.  It is a short service from 9:45am – 10:00am.

4. Coffee Break – This takes place after the midweek service from 10:00am–11:30am.

On duty this week are Elizabeth McKissock, David Hart, Helen Templeton, Maeve Kinloch and Janette Sneddon.

5. Doors Open Day – We have been invited to take part in this year’s Glasgow Doors Open Day. We will open on Saturday 17th September from 10:00am – 4:00pm. Matthew Hynes will play and Organ Recital. There will be two soloists Lyndsey Izzard and Matthew Todd, with the choir also taking part. If you can help on the day by welcoming visitors, please spak to Irene Macleod.

6. New Vision – The copy date for New Vision is next Sunday 18th September. Please leave all articles in the box or e-mail them to elizmckissock@gmail.com

7. Church Magazines – Could magazine deliverers please uplift their folders from the hall. Thanks.

8 The Way – The Way youth group meets tonight from 6:00pm – 8:00pm in the Fotheringay centre.

9. Divine Write – The King James Bible and Scotland exhibition will be held from September to December at the Mitchell Library in Glasgow to mark the 400th Anniversary of the King James Bible.

10. Pastoral Care – Rev David Black is usually at the Church on Wednesday morning for the Midweek Service. Otherwise, please contact him on 423 4000 for all pastoral matters. Thanks

 1. Next Sunday – Our Guest Preacher is Rev Sandra Black, Moderator of the Glasgow Presbytery and there will be a presentation to Rev David Black to mark the 25th Anniversary of his ordination as well as the award of a long service certificate to Mrs Betty Miller.

2. Sponsored Walk – Elva Carlisle is taking part in a sponsored walk across the Forth, Tay, Skye and Erskine Bridges next weekend on the 10th Anniversary of a life-changing trip to Papua New Guinea to raise money for the work of Mission Aviation Fellowship in PNG. Speak to Elva if you would like to sponsor her. Thanks

3. The Guild – The Guild meets tomorrow, Monday 12th September, at 2:30pm. The topic is “Heresy” and the guest speaker is Mr Kenneth Ross.

4. Coffee Morning – The Guild Coffee Morning is on Saturday 17th September. It takes place from 10:00am – 12Noon. Donations of home baking jam, marmalade etc will be much appreciated.

5. Harvest Group – The group continues on Wednesday 14th September at 7:30pm in the Session Room.
