What's Going on?

Welcome to our newsletter - we hope it will expand back to more of a magazine format once a new editor is found.

In the meantime, we report on the following activities:

  1. New Elders were ordained and admitted on 25th September - we welcomed Lindsey Izzard and Shona Shea who were ordained and Alex Mackie and Elwood Vogt who were admitted to serve as elders amongst us.
  2. Local Church Review which is the new name for the Quinquennial visit will be conducted by Presbytery at the beginning of 2017.
  3. Church House - plans continue to develop to allow us to sell off this part of our property. Building warrants necessary for the work in installing the new kitchen are being applied for. Meantime we continue in discussion with Presbytery and the General Trustees.
  4. Our Going Deeper series reflected on Prayer in September and Hymns and Songs in November - new topics for 2017 will be intimated through the weekly notices.
  5. Messy Church is our monthly event for young people to engage with faith through craft and games and a meal together - details of our Advent event are on the posters and cards.
